The opportunity to meet and share stories with people from a different culture. Our annual mission trip is an opportunity for a life-changing experience.

In 2024 in addition to the medical clinic ACP volunteers will also have the opportunity to help several Huilloc families build family greenhouses. The families use these greenhouses to grow needed fruits and vegetables to sustain their diet as well as a source of revenue in nearby markets.

Our experience begins with volunteer orientation sessions in January-February. In the spring volunteers participate in several hands-on training for all volunteers and pack and prep for the trip in May.

The mission trip includes planned side trips to visit some of the more remarkable sites in Peru’s Sacred Valley, including a highly coveted guided tour of Machu Picchu. Our guides who are with us during our entire mission trip are fluent in English, Spanish and Quechua (the native language of the Andean culture) and more importantly are trained guides and experts on Peru and Incan culture and history. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
